Finally someone who posted something serious about building a rig. ok so for starters i would highly suggest not going cheap on your processor. intel i5 2500 will definitely be good for a couple years for gaming. even after the ivy bridge is out. next for your video card a radeon 6870 would be a good choice. alot of bang for your buck. and you can always crossfire when if you want to. ram is insanely cheap now so no worries there. now as for your hdd i would suggest going ssd now especially with the sudden rise of hdd prices. ssd’s will make your system blazing fast, i kid you not. as for ur motherboard the asrock z68 extreme 4 gen 3 would be good. as for a network card dont bother just hardwire your computer to the router. much faster connection. oh and btw you forgot about a new psu w/c you will need. your looking at about 900 bucks for a decent rig. (dont expect to play bf3 on ultra, you can on high but not on ultra) oh and about the post above me do not get alienware. they charge crazy prices

Hi,so i am trying to take out part of a picture using gimp. now in a tutorial that i am watching, it says i should press ctrl and a and then ctrl and c to copy the back ground picture and then delete it. then i should paste this over the other image by pressing ctrl and v. this works. then i should click on layer mask and then click on the layer mask and press ctrl and i then the picture should come back and i can edit it. this does not work :( i add a layer mask and then click on it and press ctrl and i and nothing happens :( any ideas?sorry if my explanation doesnt make a lot of sense. i have added a link so you can watch what i mean. i am using gimp so maybe it is different to photo shop that is being used in the video.
